        M.C. Escher was a master of creating artwork containingClick for larger version repeated patterns called tessellations.  In an attempt to copy Escher's style, the students of Room 34 came up with their own tessellation creations.  Students took a small, self-made pattern and traced it multiple times to create a tessellating image.  Their job was then to add detail and color to turn their eye-catching patterns into the beautiful works of art you see below.
