Reported by Johny

Hi there this is Johny and I am the roving reporter for October 14, 2010.

The day started when I rode my bike into Tovashal School. My classmates and I put our backpacks in front of our classroom. We then went to the field to do P.E and ran a mile. When we were done we went back to the classroom. We picked up our backpacks and went inside.

First on the agenda was morning business. We got out our homework from the night before. Then we wrote our homework for tonight in our minder binders and checked our mailboxes. After that we corrected our spelling and science weekly.

We worked in our literature circles where we discussed the different jobs. The jobs are discussion director, word finder, connector, and correspondent. Then we got a new job sheet called illustrator.

Then we had social studies. In social studies we drew one of MR. Coley’s favorite scenes. The scene was super woman saving Jamestown.

Mr. Coley then read us Where The Red Fern Grows. It’s about a boy named Billy who wants two hunting dogs so much.

After recess I went to Mrs. Martinez’s class for math. During math we corrected a two page packet. Then we took a quiz on lesson-3 and 4.

After lunch we did S.S.R. since I was roving reporter I got to do my math. After I did my math I had to read.

During science we talked about four organ systems in the human body. The four systems were digestive, respiratory, circulatory, and excretory.

Mr. Coley announced “the quiet seat wasn’t quiet.” Then we packed up our back packs and waited for the bell to ring. When the bell rang we left.
